Bedside Manner Beginner Guide: Your First Hospital Escape
Beginner Guide
- Bedside Manner starts with hospital exploration and puzzle solving.
- Learn kick and sprint before committing to an unfamiliar corridor.
- Your escape also involves generators; opening a door is not the whole run.
Start with the actions that keep you moving
Begin your Bedside Manner run by locating sprint, kick and interact. On PC those are Shift, F and E. You will need movement as well as puzzle answers, so make these actions familiar before concentrating on the hospital's clues.
Give the first search a clear purpose
Explore dark rooms for the next puzzle or route objective rather than treating every corridor as somewhere to run through immediately. The game asks you to solve a color keypad and kick down doors. Those are different jobs: one needs a clue-based answer, while the other uses an action. Keep that distinction in mind when a route stops progressing.
If you are playing with friends, share the clue you found together with its color or nearby landmark. A useful message lets someone else act on the information. Simply saying that you found something can send the whole group back through the same rooms without advancing the escape.
Plan beyond the first unlocked route
Powering generators and sprinting to freedom are part of the advertised escape. Keep your next objective separate from your immediate survival response: if the creature closes in, kick it away or run, then return to the task when you can do so deliberately. There are no hiding spots to build a beginner plan around.
Before another attempt, open the Bedside Manner controls reference. It supplies the exact PC, controller and listed mobile inputs, including the generator controls that differ from ordinary interaction. Learn the relevant input family instead of trying to remember every device's buttons at once.
