Bedside Manner Controller Controls: Generator and Revival Inputs

Last updated 2026-10-16Unofficial player article

Controller Controls

  • Bedside Manner lists B/L3 for sprint and RT for Kick/Throw.
  • Generator controls are A to operate and B to leave.
  • Revival choices use D-Pad Up/Down; spectating uses LB/RB.

Learn the controller groups together

Bedside Manner's controller list gives B/L3 for sprint, RT for Kick/Throw, LT for flashlight, X for interaction and Select for inventory. Learn each binding beside the action it names. In particular, do not forget that RT is shared in the published list.

Give generator work its own pair of inputs

Controller generator interaction uses A, while B leaves it. Keep that pair together before you start working on power. B is also listed with sprint, so the situation matters: leaving an interaction and moving through the hospital are different parts of the escape.

A useful preparation is to remember the departure input as clearly as the operate input. If the creature changes your immediate priority, you want a deliberate way to leave the task and decide where to go next. This is a control-planning recommendation, not a promise about what happens to generator progress after you leave.

Keep revival and spectating separate

The controller list gives D-Pad Up/Down for revival choices and LB/RB for spectating. Those are separate contexts rather than additional normal movement buttons. Read the choice you are making before confirming a revival prompt, especially when a group conversation is moving faster than your own decision.

Open the Bedside Manner generator guide when you want to apply the A/B pair to the escape objective. It connects operate, leave and the next route decision without assuming an exact generator count or a special controller-only mechanic.
