Bedside Manner Controls: PC, Controller and Mobile Reference
Controls
- Use the control list for your device in Bedside Manner.
- Generator operate and leave actions have separate bindings.
- Keep revival and spectating inputs distinct from normal movement.
Choose the right input family
Bedside Manner publishes separate PC, controller and mobile controls. Start with the family you are actually using. The PC list includes movement and equipment keys; the controller list groups some actions differently, while mobile names RUN, KICK, LIGHT and tap interaction.
PC and controller control list
Use the reference below to find the action you need rather than translating from another device's familiar key. Keep the action name beside the binding. This matters most for shared entries such as controller RT for Kick/Throw, and for keys whose job changes while you are interacting with a generator.
On mobile, use RUN for sprint, KICK for kicking, LIGHT for the flashlight and tap to interact. The developer's short mobile list is not a reason to transfer PC keys onto a touch screen. Keep the named touch actions as your starting point.
| Action | PC | Controller |
|---|---|---|
| Move | WASD | Not specified in the published list |
| Sprint | Shift | B/L3 |
| Kick | F | RT (Kick/Throw) |
| Flashlight | Q | LT |
| Interact | E | X |
| Inventory | Tab | Select |
| Throw decoy | Click | RT (Kick/Throw) |
| Generator | Space | A |
| Leave generator | Q | B |
| Revive choices | Y/N | D-Pad Up/Down |
| Spectate | Q/E | LB/RB |
Remember the interaction context
On PC, Q is listed for the flashlight and for leaving a generator; Q/E also appears under spectating. Controller B appears in sprint and as the generator leave action, while LB/RB handles spectating. Recognizing the situation is as useful as remembering the button.
After learning the relevant controls, use the Bedside Manner walkthrough to connect them to hospital objectives. It explains what the run is trying to accomplish, while this page remains a lookup for which input belongs to each documented action.
