Bedside Manner Sprint Controls and the Escape Route
Sprint Controls and the Escape Route
- PC sprint is Shift; mobile sprint is RUN.
- Controller lists B/L3 for sprint.
- Choose where you want to reach before making a hurried turn.
Use the sprint binding for your device
Bedside Manner lists Shift for PC sprint, B/L3 for controller sprint and RUN for mobile. Learn the relevant input rather than borrowing another device's control. Sprinting is part of the advertised escape, including the instruction to run when the creature threatens you.
Decide what the run should achieve
Choose a destination that fits the immediate problem. During pursuit, it may be a route away from the threat. During objective work, it may be getting back to the place where the group can use a clue. Running without that purpose can make every unfamiliar turn feel like a new decision you have to make under pressure.
Keep the next important landmark or task in mind. This is a navigation habit, not a claim about a special route bonus or a hidden speed effect. If you lose track of the plan, recover a clear objective before turning the next search into another uncontrolled dash.
Remember when the same button has another job
Controller B is also listed as the leave-generator input. On PC, the generator leave action is Q rather than Shift. Keep the interaction context separate from ordinary movement: first leave the task using the appropriate input, then make your movement decision.
The Bedside Manner generator guide explains those operate and leave controls together. It is the useful next reference when your sprint plan is being interrupted by confusion about how to stop working on the objective.
