Bedside Manner How to Kick Doors and Open the Escape Route
How to Kick Doors and Open the Escape Route
- Door kicking is part of Bedside Manner escape.
- Use F on PC, the listed RT kick binding on controller, or KICK on mobile.
- A color keypad still needs its puzzle answer.
Use the kick action for the door obstacle
Bedside Manner explicitly includes kicking down doors. On PC, press F for kick; controller lists RT for Kick/Throw, and mobile has KICK. Keep kicking distinct from interact, because a blocked route may involve a different action rather than more presses of the same button.
Identify what is actually blocking the route
Approach the door as a route obstacle and use the relevant kick input when that is the task. If you are dealing with the color keypad, return to the clues instead. A game that includes door kicking does not make every locked or puzzle-controlled door an identical obstacle.
Avoid crowding the task with several friends repeatedly attempting different actions at once. Give the player working on it a clear view and communicate whether the group needs a clue, an interaction or a kick. This is practical coordination advice; it does not assume that extra players, repeated hits or a particular position changes a hidden door statistic.
Keep the opened route useful
An opened passage only helps if you can use the route beyond it. Before moving on, keep track of where you want to go next. If the creature arrives, respond to the pursuit instead of staying at the door because that was your original task. The advertised survival choices are to kick it away or run.
Read how to escape the Bedside Manner creature for that change in priority. Door kicking creates progress through an obstacle; survival decisions help you preserve the opportunity to continue through the hospital.
